Course Includes the Following:

30 Hours of Classroom Instruction

Learn the rules and responsibilities of operating a motor vehicle within the New California Republic. Classroom instruction covers traffic laws, defensive driving, road signs, hazard awareness, and other essential knowledge every Republic motorist should know.

Because knowing the rules is considerably easier than explaining them to an NCR Ranger after you've broken them.

10 Hours of Behind-the-Wheel Training

One-on-one driving instruction focused on safety, vehicle control, hazard awareness, and real-world driving experience.

Students will learn to confidently operate a vehicle while navigating Republic roads and the unpredictable conditions of the wasteland.

6 Hours of In-Car Observation

Students gain valuable experience by observing other cadets behind the wheel.

Watch. Learn. Identify mistakes. Try not to repeat them.

By observing fellow students, new drivers gain additional insight into safe driving practices before taking the wheel themselves.

Your Road to the Republic Starts Here.

Whether you're headed across the Mojave, commuting between settlements, or simply trying to make it home before dark, Shady Sands Academy is here to help prepare the next generation of Republic drivers.

Learn the road. Know the rules. Serve the Republic.
